I invested 18 hours in the creation
of this project. The compass and binoculars were created piece-by-piece
then assembled. The compass dial is an actual scan taken from
my camping compass. It always helps to have the real thing to
refer to when doing 3D modeling. The map underneath was created by scanning an old World War II Map into a picture file, then applying it to a Bryce 4 Terrain.
